Anthony Joshua: 18 Fights | 18 Wins | 18 KO's
Huddersfield RUFC: 2016-17: P. 25 W. 25...
Back in 2003/04, when Arsenal were a proper Premier League giant and Arsene Wenger was relatively sane, the football world was stunned as the Gunners produced the unthinkable – a title-winning unbeaten season.
It was, and still is, an incredible feat that has never been repeated. That team possessed both incredible individuals’ and remarkable team chemistry.
Fast forward 13 years and E4R club partner, Huddersfield RUFC, are on the verge of something similarly special.
However, not only have they gone the season unbeaten (so far), they’ve won every league fixture, including 13 wins away from home and boast an incredible points difference of +915!
Their most recent victory came against their closest rivals in the league, Rossendale, where they swept them aside 41-11. It’s a record that cannot go un-lauded, regardless of the coming weekend’s result…
Their final match of the season is in front of a home crowd against Sandal, and although not an easy fixture, they’ll be determined to accomplish a perfect season scorecard! There’s something about seeing 26 W’s in a row that’s extremely special.
So if you’re in and around the Huddersfield area this weekend, I’d strongly advise you make a trip to Lockwood Park – if everything goes to plan there should be some party…
Best of luck to Huddersfield and regardless of Saturday’s result, congratulations on a wonderful season.
