Clifton Rugby left it until the 51st minute (17-16) to take the lead in this well fought match.
After going behind again soon after, the boys in Lavender and Black re-took the lead and opened up a 10 point gap at 80 minutes (29-19)
A nervous added time period eventually saw the boys take 4 points for the win as the game ended on 85 minutes (29-26).
The day saw the biggest pre-match lunch of the season with 137 diners many of whom stayed on to watch the 6 Nations Super Saturday matches in the club house. A great day for the club all round!!
“The team showed real spirit today against a strong attack. We have two home games left this season, let's make sure they get the support they need.” Wyn Tingley, Chairman
